It works by sealing the dentinal tubules randomly.  Hypersensitive patients should wear the Stainless Smile Desensitizer Gel

for one minute before and/or after the procedure as this would tend to minimize any sensitivity. 

The Stainless Smile Desensitizer Gel is also beneficial for people who have sensitive teeth.  The Desensitizer Gel can be applied topically as often as it is necessary, or to pre-formed EVA Trays and wear for 1 minute.
